  4. What will be included? 12 regional EEA CSIs fact sheets: • CSI 006 Production and consumption of ozone depleting substancesCSI 008 Designated areas • CSI 012 Global and European temperature • CSI 031 Renewable electricity • CSI 034 Fishing fleet capacity • CSI 032 Status of marine fish stocks

  5. CSI 014 Land take • CSI 016 Municipal waste generation • CSI 022 Bathing water quality • CSI 021 Nutrients in transitional, coastal and marine waters • CSI 019 Oxygen consuming substances in rivers • CSI 020 Nutrients in freshwater

  6. What are the selection criteria? • Realistic selection (reliable data and time series without gaps) • Further improvement under the present activity

  7. What are the main challenges? • Data (data reliability) • Used methodology

  8. How do we overcome them? • Comparison with international data sources • Country clarifications • Statistical gap filling • Excluding indicators based on poor data/methodology

  9. What is the process of commenting by countries? • Continuous consultations throughout the production process • New data and information collection
