  2. Overview – My FTB Account • What? Expand and rename the View Payments and Balance Due Web application. • Why? To reduce taxpayer burden, increase transparency, and provide additional self-service options. • How? • Name change to “My FTB Account” • California wage and withholding information added • FTB-issued 1099G and 1099INT information added • Who? With a few exceptions, all taxpayers and their authorized representatives may use this online service. • When? Available January 2, 2008.
