  3. 1.1 Introduction • NORAQUA, Engineering Consultants, ltd, was founded as a company in 1981 and resulted from bringing together the efforts its founding partners - civil engineering graduates - had been developing separately in basic sanitation research and projects. It also resulted from the increasing need, felt by everyone, to increment added value to research through introducing new competencies. • Currently the company is ongoing implementation process of certification of quality management system according to ISO 9001:2008.
