Emergency Medical Services • Emergency Medical Technician-Basic • 1 full Semester class at Community College • Classes by EMS providers • Classroom • Hands On • Practical experience • Clinical experience (ER, Ambulance Ride-a-longs) • State Exam at end of course • Continuing education after Certification

  6. Emergency Medical Services • Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic • Pre-requisite- 6+ mo experience as an EMT-B • College level course/and degree • 1-2 Yr program • Classes are very competitive to get into • Testing required
