  2. One of the problems whereas operating with QuickBooks is the Windows Administrator Permission issue. this can be encountered while making an attempt to open the company file through QuickBooks. Once you fail to log in as an administrator while performing an important task within the application, you'll get an error message as QuickBooks Administrator Permission Needed Issue on your screen.

  3. Why this error shows up? • QBDB2x service has stopped triggering the .EXE file. • You are not logged in as Adminstrator. • Maybe the QuickBooks POS installed on your system got corrupted. • QuickBooks folder permissions for QBDB2x are not configured properly.

  4. Solution 1: Run QuickBooks POS As Administrator • Reboot your system to ensure that no process is running in the background • Now right-click the QBPOS icon on your Desktop and then select Run as Administrator

Solution 2: Restart QuickBooks Database Server Manager • Press Windows + R key and type services.msc in the Run window. • Press OK and locate any service that is named QBDB28, QBDB27, QBDB26, QBPOS Database Manager in the list of services. • Right-click the service and select Properties. • Under the General tab, choose Automatic from the Startup Type drop-down list. • Click Apply and OK to save settings. • Click Stop and then Start from the left pane. • If you are still getting QuickBooks message “This Action Requires Administrator Permission” then follow the next troubleshooting step.
