It must be edited and corrected based on the comments of the instructor and your peers. • The social network as a side column link. It should take the visitor to a page with a friend request. • The Week 8 blog post, edited and corrected based on the comments of the instructor and your peers. • The Week 9 podcast, embedded as a blog post. • The Voicethread and Animoto projects • Finally, update the appearance of the site with a fresh color scheme and/or images. • Post the blog site's URL, directly into the Week 11 final project area. Attach a screenshot in JPG or PNG format. Respond to at least two of your peers using the "comments" option on their blog sites.

  11. Social Networking tools and the workplace • Social networking tools, such as Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live, and Google Buzz, are great for keeping in touch with friends and family and having fun. Once banned from the business world, they are now being allowed or even embraced on many company networks. Some employees use social networking as a quick break from work. Studies have shown that taking short breaks can make workers more productive, and hopping over to your Facebook page for five minutes to check friends’ activities can be a quick and efficient way to “get away” mentally, even if you need to stay physically in place

  12. For discussion • 3). How important is it to know what technology to use and when to use it?

  13. Social media and personal branding • Facebook • Blogging • LinkedIn • Twitter • Real world events & networking • Writing a column, media coverage, contributed articles, PR
