Roosevelt Black Tuesday A way that people affected by the Depression received food from charities One of the 3 R’s of the New Deal; Created to provide jobs and start the flow of consumer demand October 29, 1929; The day of the stock market crash where billions of dollars were lost President during the Depression and WWII; Created the New Deal Reform Hoover Dam Bank Runs Herbert Hoover A public works project created by President Hoover One of the 3 R’s of the New Deal; Created to fix permanent problems with the economy As the stock market crashed and banks suffered, people “ran” to get their money President at the beginning of the Depression; Believed in “rugged individualism”
