  2. Duties/Job Description • Aids buyer • Verifies quantity and quality of stock that is received from manufacturer • Authorizes payment of invoices or return of shipment • Inspects exchanged or refunded merchandise

Education & Abilities • A fashion design or fashion merchandising degree is helpful, but absolutely not required. • Abilities that are helpful to this position are: Creative, flexible, enthusiastic, self motivated, and good/confident with people. • Personal qualities: traveling is a big part of this position so must like travel. Self confidence is huge.

  4. Salary, Location, Etc… • The average salary per year is 39, 980 but it can start off as low as 35, 000 or as high as 300, 000 depending on experience. • Locations vary, just as all fashion jobs • Availability also varies depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
