  2. Essential Questions • What does it mean to be a teacher researcher? • What is a teacher change agent? • Think Pair Share

  3. The Seductive Allure of Data • Read text silently – as you read identify key points and any questions • Discuss in small group • Text Rendering – whole group: • Identify word, phrase, sentence that pop out.

  4. Identifying an issue to investigate • Thinking about over your 3 quarters of student teaching – • What area do you want to know more about it • What area would you like to see what others have researched and discovered? • What will area of research could help make you more ready/more productive/more effective with ALL students in your classroom next year?

  5. For next week: • Read Caskey article • Identify your area of study- pose your research question In the next hour: Complete both perceptions survey and multicultural survey on TK20 in MISL
