  1. Quick Reference Guide Issue Types Incident Nonconformity Hazard Complaint ImprovementOpportunity Issue Types Five issue types are provided. Each type records information specific to the nature of the issue, helping to avoid ‘generic’ type fields that are often hard to complete and may not make sense.

Property Process Drug alcohol Security Near-Miss Other Complaint ImprovementOpportunity Issue Types Five issue types are provided. Each type records information specific to the nature of the issue, helping to avoid ‘generic’ type fields that are often hard to complete and may not make sense. Within the 5 Issue types, the Incident type has 10 Categories, allowing detailed information about specific Incidents to be entered. Only the selected Categories are displayed for each Incident. The selection is made when the Incident is first created, and can be modified later.

Each type records information specific to the nature of the issue, helping to avoid ‘generic’ type fields that are often hard to complete and may not make sense. Within the 5 Issue types, the Incident type has 10 sub-categories, allowing detailed information about specific Incidents to be entered. Only the selected sub-categories are displayed for each Incident – this selection is made when the Incident is first created, and can be modified later. All of this information is recorded in what is called the Report section of the Issue – this is the ‘what happened’.

Property Process Drug alcohol Security Near-Miss Other Complaint ImprovementOpportunity Investigate, Action and Close Out The Incident and Nonconformity Types both include a dedicated Causal Analysis as part of the investigation. This contains a series of prompts that are tailored for your business, and drive actions.

This contains a series of prompts that are tailored for your business, and drive actions. Actions are also entered separately to the Causal Analysis, and apply to all Issue types.

This contains a series of prompts that are tailored for your business, and drive actions. Actions are also entered separately to the Causal Analysis, and apply to all Issue types. The final stage in managing any Issue is the Close Out.

Property Process Drug alcohol Security Near-Miss Other Complaint ImprovementOpportunity Investigate, Action and Close Out The Incident and Nonconformity both had a dedicated ‘Causal Analysis’ as part of the investigation. This contains a series of prompts that are tailored for your business, and drive actions. Actions are also entered separately to the Causal Analysis, and apply to all Issue types. The final stage in managing any Issue is the Close Out. The Causal Analysis, Actions and Close Out are all located in the Manage section of the Issue. This is normally only accessed by Administrators and people who have a role in these aspects of the Issue.
