  9. The FX is designed to provide: • Full scope with no frills • Simple reliability in terms of performance and operation • No options, which can complicate the design • Industry standard pressure drop Result FX1-21 Refrigerant Dryers The Cost Effective Solution A cost efficient package, free of design compromises, providing dry air for the majority of compressed air applications.

  10. FX1-21 Refrigerant Dryers PDP of 3°C/38°F For A Corrosion Free Process The FX removes the moisture from the air and with it the risk of damage to equipment, machines and even and final product.

  11. Inlet and outlet connections on all FX are conveniently positioned on the back of the unit Industry standard pressured drop Simple control panel with on/off switch and PDP indicator Refrigerant circuit sized to always provide dry air Efficient heat exchanger with air-to-air side chosen for operational reliability and steady performance Basic scope of supply includes a HGB but remains cost effective FX1-16 Refrigerant Dryers Key Features Of The FX Range

  12. FX17-21 Refrigerant Dryers Key Features Of The FX Range Inlet and outlet connections on all FX are conveniently positioned on the back of the unit Industry standard pressured drop Simple control panel with on/off switch and PDP indicator Efficient heat exchanger with air-to-air side chosen for operational reliability and steady performance Refrigerant circuit sized to always provide dry air Basic scope of supply includes a HGB but remains cost effective

  13. FX1-21 Refrigerant Dryers A Totally Self Regulating Dryer Providing Constant Dry Air • Integrated water separator • The FX6-21 include an integrated high efficiency water separator, which facilitates a low and reliable pressure dew point • Air-to-air heat exchanger • All models include an air-to-air heat exchanger as standard, which prevents condensation forming on the outside of the pipe system

  14. FX1-21 Refrigerant Dryers A Totally Self Regulating Dryer Providing Constant Dry Air • Electronic drain • The FX1-21 include an electronic water drain as standard, ensuring reliable evacuation of the water separator, which thereby increasesthe reliability of the total machine

  15. FX1-21 Refrigerant Dryers A Totally Self Regulating Dryer Providing Dry Air Constantly • Pressure drop • Market competitive pressure drop means that every FX customer can reduce cost through energy savings • Reducing the pressure requirement and therefore the energy consumption of the compressor, brings bigger savings than most cycling or thermal mass units can achieve

  16. FX1-5 Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger Dryers Features and Variants • Inlet and outlet connections on the back of the unit • HGB supplied on all machines • R134a refrigerant • Electronic drain as standard • Brazed plate heat exchanger with air-to-air side • Separate centrifugal water separator • Simple control panel with PDP gauge • All units available in: • 230V 50Hz IEC • 230V 60Hz CSA and UL • 115V 60Hz CSA and UL (inclusive of plug)

  17. The unit can be placed next to the wall FX1-5 Compact and Easy to Install Features and Variants

  24. Installing a bypass on the dryer and filters means that servicing can be carried out without disruption the air flow. The PD after-filter removes much of the remaining oil (0.01ppm) and particles bigger than 0.01 micron. The DD pre-filter protects the heat exchanger in the dryer, reduces the oil content of the air and removes particles above 1 micron FX dryer A “wet” air receiver not only acts as a buffer, but also removes free water, which helps the dryer Outlet Air Quality Moisture +3°C/38°F Particles 0.01 micron Oil content 0.01 ppm ISO Class 1.4.1 The use of electronic no loss drains not only saves valuable compressed air, but also reduces the chances of blockages and failures A condensate separator is necessary to ensure that the drainage system is not polluted with oil FX1-21 Refrigerant Dryers Recommended FX Installation Layout

  25. FX1-21 Product Information Final Product – Support material

  26. FX1-21 Refrigerant Dryers Top 5 Selling Points • Simple to install and easy to operate • Market standard performance, a good quality machine built to the same high standard as all other Atlas Copco equipment • New heat exchanger with integrated air-to-air side eliminates risk of outlet pipes corrosion • Integrated water separator reduces components and pressure drop whilst increasing reliability • Electronic drain ensures proper operation of the water separator and increases overall reliability
