  2. Itinerary • Plane ticket:1,182.10$ • Starting City: Seoul, South Korea • I will be in South Korea for seven days and ill visit many cool places like Lotte World, Namsan park, Bongeunsa, Halla San, and Seoul Resort.

  3. EXPENSES • Flight:1,182.10 • Hotel: Mayfield Hotel 4 star for 7 days for 140 a night. • Food will be around 100 bucks a day for 7 days at the hotel so about 700 hundred for the whole week. • The rest of the money will be for things I just want to buy to take home.

  4. FACTS • Population:2010 estimate is 48,875,000 people. • Religion : no religion, Buddhist, Protestantism, catholic. • Government: Republic. Powers between president, legislator, and the court. Budget is 227.2 billion. Political parties. • Economy: The GDP is about 1.364 trillion. The unemployment rate is around 3.6%. Natural resources: coal, tungsten, graphite, molybdenum, lead, hydropower. Agriculture, Trade: Exports about 363.5 billion of goods. • History: It is one of the oldest civilizations in the world, dating back to 2333 b.c. by the leader Dangun. They went through a lot of dynasties. Now a days South Korea is a huge economic power and one of the wealthiest, in Asia. Its nickname is the Asian tiger because of there strong military. It used to just be Korean until the had a civil war, so it was separated into north and south Korea after a truce to seize war. They are still at war today. • Food: They have a bunch of Nomadic traditions. Mostly rice, noodles, tofu, veggies, and meat.

  5. Facts Continued… • Climate: Four distinct seasons that there have. Winters are long and cold. Summers are short and really hot/humid. Spring and autumn are peaceful but short, and less vulnerable to typhoons. There is a good amount of rain enough to keep agriculture going. About 100cm of rain a year on average. Droughts do occur around every 8 years. • Geography: Mostly surrounded by water has 2,413km of coast line. To the west is the Yellow Sea, East China sea. Has about 100,032km of land mass. South Korea also has a lot of mountains the highest is called Halla San 1,950 meters high. • Language: Mostly every single person speaks some sort of Korean. About 65 million speak Korean. • Money: The money that the Koreans use is called wons. If you had one Korean won it would be equal to 0.0009 US dollars. If you we to have 2,500 won it would be 2.25 American dollars. • Requirements: IF YOU ARE STAYING FOR UNDER 30 DAYS ALL YOU NEED TO ENTER IS A PASSPORT. • Best time to visit: Autumn, September and November skies are blue and calm. Spring can also be a good time to visit. The worst time to visit is in the Summer because there is rain, heat, and monsoons.

  6. Attractions • Lotte World: The largest indoor theme park in the world. In Seoul. 35,000 won for an adult ticket for one day. • Namsan Park: Tower in which you can take a cable car to a tower and have lunch/dinner for 6,300 won + food. • Bongeunsa: Buddhist temple where you can live as A monk for a few hours. Free admission. • Halla San: Biggest Mountain in South Korea. • Seoul Resort: Go snowboarding on one of the best mountains in Seoul. Its a year round resort. For a full day its 41,000 won.
