  5. 何謂基因多型性? • 多型性: polymorphism • 基因多型性: 一個族群內一個基因同時存在2或2個以上的DNA序列

  6. 基因多型性一般可分為: 1. 點的多型性: 單一至數個核苷酸序列的變異; 2. 區域的多型性: 即多變異數的重複單位 (variation in the number of tendem repeats,簡稱VNTR) microsatellite repeats: 2~5個核苷酸的重複片段 minisatellite repeats: 10~100以上較長的重複片段

  8. 何謂聚合酵素鍊反應? • 聚合酵素鍊反應 (polymerase chain reaction,簡稱PCR): 利用聚合酶將某一特定的DNA片段不斷的重複複製,使特定片段的量從數個至數十個分子一再放大到足夠用來檢測的量

  9. 基本原理: 在高溫下使DNA變性成單股,以單股DNA作為模板,一小段適當的核苷酸序列做primer,再利用聚合酶引導primer沿著模板,將四種去氧核苷三磷酸(dNTP) 複製成完整的雙股DNA
