  3. :1-2 Then the whole assembly rose and led him off to Pilate.  And they began to accuse him, saying, "We have found this man subverting our nation.  He opposes payment of taxes to Caesar and claims to be Christ, a king." :3 So Pilate asked Jesus, "Are you the King of the Jews?" - Luke 23

  4. Switching charges 1. Subverting the nation 2. Opposing payment of taxes to Caesar 3. Claiming to be a King

  5. "Don't be clever.   Be content with telling the truth."

  6. I Timothy 6:13 "In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession..."

  7. Two helps in sharing Christ 1. Appeal to conscience. 2. Let the truth speak for itself "Don't be clever.   Be content with telling the truth."

  8. "Yeah, I think what we see is all there is. There is no God. You’re a Christian. Why do you believe God exists?” How can you help this person have a greater understanding of God by: 1. Appealing to conscience 2. Letting truth speak for itself
