  4. Walkthrough: Creating the Dashboard • Turn on the Folder List in the navigation pane (CTRL+6) • Turn on the TaskPad • Set the Calendar View to Work Week • Make the Dashboard your default view Folder List TaskPad Calendar Toolbar

Exercise 1: Using the TaskPad • Click in the TaskPad and start typing your subject line • Add a due date (if appropriate) by using the drop-down Calendar • Edit the task item at the next review of your Task Lists to add category and contact tags and any additional information to make the task a clear next action

  6. Exercise 2: Configuring the TaskPad • The Dashboard TaskPad only shows: • Today’s tasks • Any overdue tasks • Accidental clicks happen • Get comfortable resetting the Sort order in the TaskPad
