Flying to Hong Kong and back from Bangkok with El Al Israel’s national carrier (in which most of the pilots are retired Israel Air Force pilots), I was privileged to sit in the cockpit and enjoy the amazing view. In the upper picture Captain Doron Karni who ejected from a Mirage because of a migrating eagle that penetrated his engine in October 1979

  3. First morning trip in Tamsui neighborhood, Taipei, visiting a morning prayer in a temple

  12. Final discussion with the leading team of AHRI for our future cooperation – a delegation from AHRI will visit Israel during the last week of December 2015

  13. October 2013: H.E. Dr. Bao Ji-Chen, Minister of Agriculture, Taiwan, visiting our ringing station in the Beit She’an Valley, Israel

  14. October 14th, 2015: A farewell dinner hosted by Dr. Bao-Ji Chen at the World Trade Center Club, Taipei

  15. October 15th, 2015: Meeting with Tamar Yarden, Ambassador Asher Yarden’s wife, and Liran Golan, Technologies Director, Anemone Ventures Ltd.

  16. GeneralLiao Jung-Hsin (Anson), a three-star General, combat pilot and keen birder who acts now as the Chairman of the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) November 2010: The General releases a Kestrel to the wild on his visit to Israel to learn about our activities with the Israeli Air Force and more

  17. General Liao hosted our visit with Colonel Tu at the National Palace Museum with amazing treasures, including lots of bird art

  18. With General Liao, Colonel Tu and the top guide in the museum, John Chen, and the lovely daughter and wife of General Liao

  19. Four Generals attended the dinner, as well as Prof. Lucia Severinghaus, President IOC; Yossi presented General Liao with a fruit plate from Israel

  20. The dinner hosted by General Liao included 9 vegetarian dishes! Impressive!

  21. Prof. Wen Hsiung-Li, Head of the Biodiversity Institute at Academia Sinica, hosted Yossi’s lecture in the institute

  22. Prof. Lucia helps Yossi to expose the real size of a Griffon Vulture from our educational projects

  23. Prof. Chi-Huey Wong, President of Academia Sinica, met Yossi on the campus; Prof. Wong headed a large delegation on BioMed to Israel this year hosted by Tel Aviv University
