  3. Introduction • My Learning Link is the new Global Schneider Electric tool dedicated to training managementreplacing the TNCT and Bridge HR training in France. My Learning link has been implemented in order to facilitate the development of your team‘s training plan. • My Learning Link will help you to build your training plan and to request training via self services. The data entered is stored into My Learning Link and therefore constitute your Training plan for the coming year. • This year, training needs identified during 2013 Individual Competency Review (ICR) will not be imported into the tool. They will have to be manually entered by managers. The list will be transmitted by email to the plan contributor at the opening of the training plan in My Learning Link. For your information: All mobility made ​​during the construction of the training plan (September to December) will not be updated in the system. In case of mobility, the training needs will remain attached to the declaring manager‘s team.

  5. System login Pre requisite: Open Internet Explorer or a Firefox window. Please do not use the link to "My Learning Link" directly from Lotus Notes Copy/Paste the following link: https://schneider-electric.csod.com/client/schneider-electric/default.aspx To access for the first time, please enter: 1 You Login Name will be your SESA ID  2. If you were hired on or after January 3, 2014, your password will be Welcome1 upon first logging into the system. If you were hired on or before January 2, 2014, your password will be your SESA ID upon first logging into the system. Once you log in, you will be prompted to change your password. If you already connected to My Learning Link and you forgot your password, you can reinitialize it by clicking on the Forgot password link. My Learning Link is accessible anywhere. All you need is an internet connection

  10. Search in the catalog 3 1 2 • There are three ways to search for a course in the catalog. • 1 Search for training welcome page • 2 Browse for training • 3 Search box

  11. Search in the catalog 1 2 • You can search per subject (previously domain) • Then, click on the Go to search link.

Search in the catalog • You can search for a course in the catalog by selecting different training types: • Online class = e-learning • Event = in class training • Curriculum= set of learning objects (event, e-learning, etc) • Test (Not used for the moment) • Material = Academies certification • Video (Not used for the moment) • Certification (Not used for the moment)

Search in the catalog • Once you have selected the training type, you can search by: • Title • Description • Languages • Subject ( domain) • Competency • Location • ILT locator number (Not used for the moment) • Instructor • Note: • Old Bridge references (e.g.000779) are part of the keywords to facilitate the search. Enter them in the “Title” • search field. • To see available events in the French catalog, we advise you to always select language French (France) in the • language search tab.

  14. Search in the catalog The small icon inform about the training type. Online Class = E-Learning Event = In class training - Previously ADF Curriculum = Set of events or blended learning objects (e.g. online class, event etc..;) = Cursus Example of a search by title : Enter “ Change” in the title field and set available languages to English (US) and/or French (France).

Search in the catalog • When you click on the title of the event, you will be able to see: • Training hours • Course description • Details • Available sessions • 1.To assign this training in the training plan, Select Training plan 201X and click Add. • (The process follows on slide 35) • 2.To assign training out of the training plan • Warning: This functionality is to be used out of the training plan, only for self services request. * • 3.To go back to your search, click on “Close”. * Today, only free elearning must be assigned with this functionality. 1 3 2

  24. Access Training Plan The Plan Manager access to the training plan, go to My Team and click on Training Plans

  25. Access Training Plan The HRBP clicks on the manager's name to access the detailed training plan in order to review and validate it. The HRBP can complete or modify its managers training plan on his dedicated scope.

  26. Training Plan – Plan Manager 3 4 2 1 The HRBP can visualise the summary of the individual needs, collectives needs, budget reserve and FDQ on his/her scope. To visualise the description of the course content click on the title. To modify a need click on the triangle icon. To add a training need included a budget reserve or a FDQ, please follow the same steps as for the plan contributor explained in the following slides. To delete a training need click on the trash icon in the option part.

Training Plan – Plan Manager • The HRBP can modify the following fields: • Select All/ Unselect All • Modify the typology • Modify the request type (regular request or GPEC) • Modify the priority • Modify the budget reserve – estimated users • Once your modifications entered, you can click on “Save”

  28. Training plan – Plan manager – modify a training request Any training request removal is saved under the tab « Removal history ». Any other change (change of typology, priority, etc…) does not appear in the system. For you information, the manager will not be informed by the system about the HRBP changes.

  29. Training Plan – Plan Manager 1 2 3 The HRBP can add training request during all the period of the Training plan construction. 1. To enter an individual or collective request, click on the blue cross « Add Training ». 2. To enter a budget reserve or an FDQ (External Degree), click on the blue cross «  External training ».

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Select training To select a course in the catalog, Click on the link Add Training. • The plan Manager can search for a course in the catalog by selecting either event or curriculum. • Event (In class) = Previously ADF • Curriculum = Set of events or blended learning objects (e.g. online class, event etc..;) • Material= Academies certifications • NB: Free elearning and videos must not be part of the Training plan. New language course: The Bridge HR elearning language course are now available in MLL catalog under event training type. Ex:

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Select curriculum 1 • To search for a curriculum in the catalog: • Select “Curriculum ” in the learning object search tab. • Type the title of the course you would like to assign. Example: Keywords, title or category • Select the language of the event. • To see available curriculum in the French catalog, we advise you to always select language French (France). 2 3 When you find the curriculum, click on the blue cross to select it and click on done.

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Assigning an individual training This triangle enables you to open or close the section in order to avoid to scroll down   • The plan manager has to select the employee(s) for whom he/she wants to assign the course. • After selecting the employee, the plan manager has to go through four mandatory steps: • Select the “Typologie” = Typology • Select the “Type de Demande” = Demand type (Demande classique or GPEC) • Select a “Priorité” = Priority • Do not modify “0” in the budget reserve field for “Estimated users” • (Cf. See the annexes for fields translation & definition)

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Assigning an individual training(Typology) • Step 1: Select a Typology • Adaptation au poste = Adaptation to job • Programme d’entreprise = Company program • Développement des compétences= Skilldevelopment • Formations Diplômantes et Qualifiantes (FDQ) = Externaldegree • DIF 100% = DIF 100% • (Cf. See the annexes for fields translation & definition)

Training Plan – Plan Manager– Assigning an individual training(Demand type) Step 2: Select the Demand Type (Regular request or GPEC cost center) Regular request = DemandeClassique Reminder: While selecting any GPEC values, the typology has to be either Company Program or FDQ. Other typologies must not be used with GPEC values, please use Regular request. (Cf. See the annexes for fields translation & definition)

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Assigning an individual training(Priority) • Step 3: Select a Priority • High (Haute) = Training is scheduled during the 1st semester. • Medium (Moyenne) = Training is scheduled during the 2nd semester. • New: The notion of « Low priority » does not exist anymore in My Learning Link.

  38. Training Plan – Plan Manager – Assigning an individual training(Budget reserve) Warning: Budget Reserve: By default this field is pre filled with “0”. When requesting an individual training you must not change “0” in the Estimated User box.

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Assigning an individual training By clicking on save button the information is updated Once the individual training request is made the plan manager clicks on “ Save”. When finishing entering the Training Plan needs the manager clicks on “Submit” Beware, this functionality should not be used at this stage. This one should be used only at the end of the Training plan review. New: When clicking on the button “Submit” an information email is automatically sent to the manager’s N+1.

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Assigning a collective training • To request a collective training, follow the same steps as for the individual training and select your identified team members. • After selecting its team members, the plan manager has to go through four mandatory steps: • Select the Typology • Select Demand type (regular demand of GPEC) • Select a Priority • Must not modify “0” of Estimated users for Budget reserve

When finishing entering the Training Plan needs the manager clicks on “Submit” Beware, this functionality should not be used at this stage. This one should be used only at the end of the Training plan review. New: When clicking on the button “Submit” an information email is automatically sent to the manager’s N+1.

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Make a budget reserve • Advice for Plan Managers: • Requesting a budget reserve is not recommended but can be done when: • The training is not yet created in the catalog • Your need is not clearly identified (team member, training course etc..) • Any budget reserve will have to be re- entered by the plan contributor through the self service once the employee • and the relevant training areidentified. • RULES • Training title: Enter “Budget Reserve” • Training description: Enter detailed purpose of the budget reserve demand. • Institution: Enter “Budget Reserve” • Training dates: Enter 1st January 2014 – 31st December 2014 • Cost: Enter the budget reserve amount per estimated users. • Training hours: Enter estimated hours of training per estimated users. • Logistic provider: Do not use • Click OK to finish

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Make a budget reserve • After completing the external training template, the plan manager has to: • “Unselect All” subordinates. • Enter the number of estimated trainees in the Estimated users box. (For your information, the total of the budget reserve will correspond to the Cost x Estimated users.) • Select the request type (Regular request or GPEC) • Then save • NB: Do not enter the typology and priority.

  48. Training Plan – Plan Manager – Entering an External degree (FDQ) To enter an External degree (FDQ), click on the blue cross « External Training »

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Entering an External degree Important: For the training plan 2014 : Enter only the 1rst year for new FDQ NB: For running FDQ, year 2 and 3 will be loaded in your training plan but still remain under your validation. • RULES • Training title: Enter title following this model: FDQ_Degree name_ full period of FDQ • Training description: Explain FDQ purpose + specify the year of the FDQ (e.g. 1rst year on a 3 years program) • Institution: Enter the FDQ vendor name • Training dates: Always indicate 01/01/2012– 12/31/2014. • Cost: Indicate the cost for the coming year. For the FDQ made on several years, enter the estimated cost at the prorata of the number of years. • Training hours: Enter the estimated hours at the prorata of the number of years of FDQ. • Vendor Name: Always select FDQ External provider • Attachments: You can join the convention and the” “Engagement réciproque”. • Click OK to finish

Training Plan – Plan Manager – Entering an External degree • The plan manager selects the employee who will make the FDQ (External degree). • The plan manager has to go through four mandatory steps: • Always select a typology “Formation Diplomante et Qualifiante” for the FDQ • Select the request type (Regular request or GPEC) • Select a priority • « High » for a deployment during the 1st semester • « Medium » for a deployment during the 2nd semester • Do Not modify “0” in “Estimated users” • New: A FDQ can now be associated with a request type « GPEC ».
