  2. Five-a-side football (ποδόσφαιρο) The five-a-side championship of Greece is called the Hellenic Championship and it is organized by the footballfederation of Greece. The championship began in the season 1997/1998 and some 2001 played the cup national Greece. The five editions have been won by the Doukas and Athina 90.

  3. Greek won the European Championship in 2004 but the Greek team weren’t good enough. The Super League Greece is their name. The most famous Greek teams are: - Olympiacos won 37 titles; - Panathinaikos won 20 titles; - AEK Atene won 11 titles; - Aris Salonicco won 3 titles; - Paok Salonicco won 2 titles; - Larissa won 1 title. Nikolaos Zisis is quite famous in italy, he plays like playmaker in Montepaschi Siena’s team. Kosta Koufos plays in Minnesota Timberwolves a team which is part of the NBA. The Greek national basketball team is 4th in the FIBA ranking, the coach is Jonas Kazlauskas. In the european championship they won two gold medals in 1987 and in 2005, furthermore it won one silver medal in 1989 and two bronze medals in 1996 and 2004. Basketball (μπάσκετ)

  9. Dimitrios Petrokokkinis is a tennis player who participated in the first game of tennis at the Modern Olympics that were in Athens. He won the silver medal paired with dionvsios kasdaglis, in the double in final jonh pius boland and friedrich traun. in the tournament singular was defeated in the first round by Evangelos rallis.
