  8. E-Pumps – all in one speed controlled solutions What is an E-Pump? An E-Pump is simply a Grundfos pump with a Grundfos MLE motor. What is an MLE motor? A Grundfos MLE motor is a variable frequency drive & motor that are integrated into one unit.

  9. MLE Motor – A high level of motor/drive integration • MLE Motor • Truly Integrated VFD + Motor • Class F insulation with Class B temperature rise = “Cool” running motor • Why Integrate? • Motor and VFD are properly matched • Lower Installed Cost • No Special cables required between motor and VFD • Reduced over-voltage on the motor windings (no long cables) • No output cables – Minimized radiation emissions • Better compatibility within drive system – lowers noise and vibration • Often easier and faster to retrofit in a building or industrial application

  10. TPE – A Solid performer 15 years running! Series 2000 > Shipped with differential pressure sensor > Proportional or Constant Differential Pressure Control Series 1000 > No sensor included > Field Mounted Sensor or control via external signal (PLC, BMS) > Constant Differential Pressure Control > Field programming required (GrundfosGO Remote)

  11. TPE – A solid performer 15 years running! Magna3 Max Head Applications: Hot and Chilled water circulation (incl. glycol mixtures) Flow Range: 0 to 300 GPM Head Range: 0 to 67 Feet Motor: MLE 1x208-230V MLE 3x208-230V MLE 3x460-480V Power Range: 1/3 to 3 HP Min. Fluid Temp: 5°F (-15°C) Max. Fluid Temp: 248°F (120°C) Max. Working Pressure: 145 PSI

  12. TPE – A solid performer 15 years running! Hmax ¾ of Hmax Series 2000 Proportional Pressure Control Setting Range: ¼ to ¾ of Hmax ¼ of Hmax

  13. CME – Robust & Efficient in a compact design Applications: Pressure Boosting and circulating systems with high head requirements Flow Range: 0 to 158 GPM Head Range: 0 to 380 Feet Min. Fluid Temperature: -22°F (-30°C) Max. Fluid Temperature: 248°F (120°C) Max. Working Pressure: 232 PSI

  14. CME – Robust & Efficient in a compact design

  15. CME – Robust & Efficient in a compact design 3 material versions: Cast Iron/SS, 304SS and 316SS 3 seal types: SiC/SiC with EPDM, FKM (Viton) or Kalrez

  16. CRE – Pressure Boosting at its finest! Easy to install - ONE supplier Maximize energy savings Reduce system costs • Eliminate Valves (PRV’s) • Less wear on piping system • Less wear on pumps • Smaller tank size Communication - optimal user interface – GO Remote Wide performance range –0 to 790 gpm Wide application range – Iron/304SS, ALL 316SS, and even Titanium!

  17. CRE – Pressure Boosting at its finest! Motor Variable Frequency Drive TEFC UL Type 3R (IP55) Controller Operation Panel Sensor Pump 1 Phase 208-230V 0.5 to 1.5 hp 3 Phase 208-230V 1.5 to 7.5 hp 3 Phase 460-480V 1.0 to 30 hp

  18. CRE – Pressure Boosting at its finest! • Integrated VFD/Motor/Pump • All one Manufacturer • MLE Motor with PI controller • No Flow/Low Flow Shut Off for pressure boosting apps. • Built in RFI Filter • Simple Installation • Simple Interface • Various Analog Input Options (4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, 10 kW Potentiometer) • 2 Digital Inputs • MLE Motor – Class B temperature rise WITH VFD • MLE Motor – Quiet operation

  19. CRE – Pressure Boosting at its finest! No Flow Protection The stop function turns the pump off in a “dead head” condition The controller checks the flow regularly by reducing the pump speed momentarily and checking the change in pressure If there is no change in pressure, the controller detects a no flow condition. When the controller detects a no flow condition, the speed of the pump is increased until the stop pressure is reached and the pump turns off When the pressure falls to the start pressure, the pump will restart Active 10 %

  20. CRE – Pressure Boosting at its finest! The “Trap” • Isolation Valve (Suction) • CRE-Pump (w/ MLE motor) • Check Valve • Pressure Transducer • Air in Diaphragm Tank • Water in Diaphragm Tank • System Valves (Discharge) A Small Diaphragm tank and check valve are required for the no flow shut-off feature Pg 36
