  3. Thank You Messages • Organizations often send letters of appreciation to: • A new customer for a first order • To an establish customer for a large order • To an individual or organization for completing a job.

  5. Messages of Congratulations • This type of message is much like a message of appreciation • This type of message or letter thanks someone for doing something special or going the extra mile • Tells a person “well done” for: • Getting a promotion • Completing a project
