  2. Physical Characteristics • The Golden Lion Tamarin is a small monkey.It is about the size of a squirrel.It has a golden mane.

  3. Enviornment • GLT’s live in the Atlantic Forest.This habitat is a swamp forest with many trees and bromeliads.

  4. Animal BehaviorThe GLT eats fruit and many other things.It is active at day and sleeps at night.It has many natural enemies,but it’s biggest is humans.

  5. Why Endangered Deforestation Being hunted by other animals Being sold in the illegal pet market

  6. Protection and Conservation • People are doing a lot to save the GLT.People put them through Boot Camp.Even the Nature Conservancy is having the Plant a Billion Trees program.
