  2. 2011 - 2012 PROGRAM New Mandates -become familiar with the new brands Train Your Staff -on the new mandates, the beverage menu and on alcohol in general New Beverage Menu -a selling to tool to help you increase beverage sales Contact Your Local Distributor -training academies -to order your new products in advance

LEGALITIES #1 Rule -it is illegal in any state for an account to accept marketing dollar funds from an alcoholic co. -all funds must go through a third-party agency such as HMG -this includes funding for pos material and incentive programs Marketing Dollar Support -is legal when involving a third-party agency to cover the cost of pos material ONLY Contact Your State ABC -every state has different laws pertaining to alcohol, become familiar with them -http://www.ttb.gov/wine/control_board.shtml

SUPPLIER SUPPORT Spirit, Beer, Wine & N/A -we are working with over 9 different suppliers -each supplier represents numerous brands Total Support Collected -last year: $22,000 + -our goal this year: $45,000 + Sell, Sell, Sell -the more beverages you sell, the more profit you make, the more the suppliers move cases, the more marketing funds we will get for 2012

COMPLIANCE Pour The Listed Product -it is imperative to pour the product that’s listed in the menu -suppliers are counting on case movements -it is in bad character to pour another brand other than the brand listed Expect Local Teams To Ensure Compliance -each supplier will either send out their local team or local distributor partner to make sure you are carrying and pouring the correct product Support The Brands That Support MM -the suppliers who are featured on your mandate list have paid support dollars to help you build your beverage program. support them!
