  1. Animal Welfare Animal Rights Who’s Right?

  2. Animal welfare is defined as the ___human__responsibility_ that covers all aspects of an animals well being. This includes proper housing, management, nutrition , disease-_prevention_ and treatment, responsible care, humane handling and when necessary human _euthanasia_.

  3. Humans can interact with animals for _entertainment, industry, _sport and recreation. • But, this interaction should include provisions _, that insure proper _care of the animals.

  4. Some animal sports that they support are _rodeo and livestock shows. Animal welfare utilizes scientific evidence to base animal care and handling guidelines.

  5. - Basic interests of non-human _animals, such as avoiding _suffering , should be afforded the _same consideration as the basic interest of _human __beings . Animals should not be regarded as _property, used for _food_,_clothing ,__research_, or entertainment.
