  1. Invitation Event: Dress Jozi Walk Date: 7 June 2014 Time: 7am until 18h00/6pm Venue: Newtown Park Johannesburg, (Opposite Sci-Bono)

  2. 3rd Annual Dress Jozi Walk 2014 • JOHANNESBURG-YDIDI,Youth Development through Investigation and Dissemination of Information presents to you the 3rd Annual Dress Jozi Walk 2014, a platform for giving back to the community, business support, building relationships with potential business partners, connecting the youth face-to-face with providers of internships, learnerships, bursaries and careers, on the 7th June 2014 from 7am till 6pm at the Newtown Park (Opposite Sci-Bono), Johannesburg. • Now in its third year, the Dress Jozi Walk Campaign is an annual initiative which was started in 2012, with the objective of identifying destitute persons living in the Johannesburg CBD. The purpose of this initiative is to donate warm clothes to the homeless to wear throughout the cold winter season, attract persons; businesses; government agencies and other social development agencies. • Through this initiative we encourage you to jump with us into action for the street dwellers, young and old. We dedicate a day to bring some warmth in the form of warm clothing, footwear, and blankets to the street dwellers of Johannesburg CDB. It may not be a lot but it will certainly make that difference. • We also decided to think about and assist that youth without appropriate corporate interview clothing who have just completed matric or graduated from tertiary institutions going for their first ever interviews at various companies. We are also in the process of collecting corporate clothing for these financially constrained high potential young professionals. • How you can get involved: • • Become a drop-off point for donations of clothes. • • Collect decent and good clothing to donate on the day of the event. • • Donate warm clothing. • • Contribute refreshment for the participants. • • Contribute marquee tents, stage, &PA/Sound system. • • Food items to hand out to the homeless/destitute • “We don’t give because we have more, but we give because we know how it feels not to have.” • To confirm your participation or for further details please contact Edna on 073 192 8341 or Tembisa on 0729328591 / (011)772-0952 or via email at edna@ydidi.co.za or tembisa@ydidi.co.za • (011)772-0952|0729328591|0838718272|neok@ydidi.co.za | info@ydidi.co.za • For youth development opportunities follow these easy steps • Visit our website: www.ydidi.co.za • Facebook page Ydidi • Twitter @YDIDi_World • Subscribe to our opportunities newsletter • Tune into YFM 99.2 every Saturday from 8am to 9am to listen to the Ydidi Show live.
