Mission Statement "The mission of Tuckahoe Elementary School is to develop responsible, life-long learners by providing a quality education through inquiry-based, differentiated, and multi-sensory instruction in a nurturing environment that maximizes classroom, outdoor, and technological resources." We believe: · that showing respect, being responsible, and remembering the rights of others promotes good citizenship in fostering the appreciation of diversity in our community and the world. · that instruction should be relevant, challenging, and engaging. · that differentiated instruction addresses all children’s needs. · that home-school communication is an integral part of a successful school community.

  3. Expectations I will come into all classes with all materials and sit quietly. I will raise my hand before speaking in every class. I will show respect to all teachers and classmates everywhere! -Self Advocacy -Honesty

  5. Summer Activities Reading • Principal Brown's Reading Club Running Out of Time,Wringer, Extra Credit, Math - Practice Math Facts - Summer Math Packet Technology Typing Skills and Familiarity with Computers Foster Independence and Responsibilities
