MINUS TAGS: THE NEW HI-TECH SOLUTION FOR WOMEN'S SECOND HAND CLOTHING When Founder, Usman K. learned that the average American throws away approximately 80 pounds of used clothing and it costs cities $45 per ton to dispose of old clothing, he knew he had to come up with a solution: an upcycle online clothing store. His wife, pregnant at the time, joined forces with him after seeing how many clothes she had to dispose of during her pregnancy. Thus, Minus Tags was born.

  2. The company launched in 2016 with the mission to save women’s clothing by redistributing them at lower prices in order to keep them out of landfills and help preserve the environment. From dresses and tops to sweaters and jackets, Minus Tags offers last season’s items, returns, excess unsold inventory, gently used, second hand clothes from premium brands like Banana Republic, J Crew, Alfani, and more at 70% off to extend the lifecycle of each piece and reduce waste.

  3. While the goal was to create an eco-friendly and sustainable fashion company, Minus Tags takes fashion, one step further. Using A.I. technology, we created a Virtual Stylist that recommends items to you after you upload photos online of your favorite clothes. By blending technology with fashion, we are able to make shopping faster and easier while helping you find styles you know you love, making Minus Tags the first ever hi-tech women's thrift store.

Our vision is to help create a cleaner environment for future generations by reducing waste and our mission is to provide you with brands you love at remarkable thrift prices to keep clothes from filling up our landfills. We made preserving the environment as easy as shopping online. We also made it beneficial. We will donate a portion of our sales to third world countries in need of clean water.
