Multiple Implants

Multiple implant treatment refers to the placement of more than one dental implant to replace multiple missing teeth. This treatment can be used to replace a few missing teeth, or an entire arch of teeth. Dental implants are a popular choice for tooth replacement because they provide a long-lasting, natural-looking solution that allows patients to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

  1. MULTIPLE IMPLANTS

  2. Multiple Implant A dental implant is at its core a titanium screw that mimics the natural root of a tooth. There are multiple parts to the implant process.

  3. INITIAL CONSULT During the consultation, the patient will be examined to assess if they are an appropriate candidate for implants.

  4. Second Consultation During the second consultation dental x-rays will be taken and the procedure planned with the patient and the dentist.

  5. Surgery On the surgery day, under local anaesthetic a small incision is made into the gum area after it is cleared. The implant is then inserted into your jawbone.

  6. Implant Placed Once the implant has fused with the jawbone the final restoration of the tooth can occur. This may be in the form of a crown or a dental bridge.
