Wisdom teeth's Removal

Wisdom teeth removal is a common procedure that dental clinics and dentists can help with. Impacted wisdom teeth can cause pain, crowding, and infection. Wisdom teeth removals are typically done by an oral surgeon. The surgeon will numb the area around the wisdom tooth and then make an incision in the gum to expose the tooth.

  1. Wisdom Teeth’s Removal Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that most people get in their late teens or early twenties. They are called wisdom teeth because they tend to appear around the same time that young adults gain wisdom. While some people have no problems with their wisdom teeth and they come in just fine, others may have problems such as impacted wisdom teeth. This means that the tooth is stuck and cannot fully come into the mouth. Impacted wisdom teeth can cause pain, crowding, and infection. Most people have four wisdom teeth, which are the backmost molars on each side of the mouth. Wisdom teeth typically erupt during late adolescence or early adulthood. They may cause problems if they become impacted (stuck) in the gum tissue or bone. Impacted wisdom teeth can result in pain, infection, and other dental problems. In some cases, removal of the wisdom teeth is recommended to prevent these problems. If you have wisdom teeth choose the best dentist or dental clinic near you for consultation.

  2. The tooth is then removed and the area is sutured closed. Recovery from wisdom teeth removal can take a few days to a week. During this time, it is important to eat soft foods and avoid using straws or smoking, as these can cause dry sockets. However, as with any surgery, there is always a risk of infection or other complications. Be sure to talk to your oral surgeon or a well experienced dentist about all of the risks before having your wisdom teeth removed.
