  2. 10. The other doctor I asked has not responded to me • The reasons get better as the presentation continues

  3. 9. I get awkward around potential “senior” faculty mentors • When I talk with Christine Ritche, James Tulsky, etc. my mind goes blank • I hear Bette Midler singing the song “Did you ever know you’re my hero…” • I am scared that I will say something to them like “You are the wind beneath my wings”

  4. 8. I think you may be able to provide mentorship regarding my hyper-enthusiastic response to people

  5. 7. You can bring your family to Utah! • Tons of fun family-friendly things to do here! • AAHPM will pay for your ticket • Your family can play while you work • You can also play because there will be free time

  6. 6. You can stay at Snowbird • It’s really pretty (ask Sei Lee and Christine Ritche) • It is not expensive in the summer • Lot’s of fun family things to do: • Alpine slide • Aerial tram • Swimming pools • Bouncy castles

  7. 5. Your strengths = my needs improvement • You have been published • You are good with data • You are good with computers • You do not get spastic around people like Christine Ritcheand James Tulsky

  8. 4. I am responsive to feedback • I will not cry when you give me advice • I will not cry if you tell me I am sending too many emails • I will not cry if you are busy and cannot respond

  9. 2. We can do great work together • Create conference workshops at AAHPM, AGS, and Reynolds • Disseminate the AGS Geriatrics Evaluation and Management Tools • Develop great curricula • Publish articles – including one for the American Family Physician (AAFP)

  10. 3. We can do great work together • We really can! • Really! • Trust me on this one!

  11. 1. AAHPM will give us money! • $1500 • And free conference registration for AAHPM in San Diego = more money to spend at the San Diego Zoo and on surfing lessons • Will you be my mentor? • Yes Maybe
