  2. TOPIC SELECTION SLIDE Give a brief explanation of the reasons why you chose the topic you did for your project.

  3. Establish reason for project • Statistics or data related to your topic • Prove there is an issue /problem to research • Lead into core question

  4. Mentor Slide • Name of mentor • Relationship to mentor • Education of mentor • Reasons mentor was selected to assist you with your project.

  5. Core Question Slide

Research Slides • This is the bulk of the presentation. • There should be approximately 10-12 slides dedicated to the research you found. • Relate the research to the core question. • Cite all research in MLA format at the bottom of the slide. • Show any data, pictures, video and all research based information. • Primary source/interview

  7. Research Slides continued… • If research comes from multiple sources, you may use parenthetical format which is to give the last name of the author and the year. ( Smith 2010). • Citations from sources should be put at the bottom of each slide in a smaller font.

  8. Evidence of New Knowledge What would you like to see changed about your topic? How can you improve your topic?

  9. Learning Stretch/Application of Learning • Crucial piece of presentation!!! • Student’s work! • Apply what you’ve learned and provide solution/recommendations/suggestions etc. • Show your stuff!
