  1. Disasters In Sri Lanka Human life is filled with various painful incidents, unexpected happenings. Natural disasters are most painful unpredictable things man ever faces. There is no colour cast, creed, religious, or a race difference for a natural disaster. It can happen at any where at any time. There are several types of natural disasters Such as……………………….

  2. Earth Quakes

  3. Explosion of volcanoes,

  4. Floods

  5. Tsunami

  6. FOREST FIRES

  7. SAND STORMS

  8. Land slides

  9. How man is affected • However man cannot escape from these disasters. • Sri Lanka faced the most crucial natural disaster in 2004 because of Tsunami. It snatched a number of lives in one or two seconds.

  10. ARE WE SO UNFOTUNATE? • Actually mother nature has blessed us with number of gifts

  11. I think the natural disasters can be the punishment of hers for not protecting for the future.

  12. HOW SAFE WE ARE? • However our little mother land had never experienced the cruelty of Volcanoes, Tornadoes Winter storms but Landslides or minor earth slips. • In these great catastrophes there is something significant that we have to study is how we should care the affected and how to protect our mother land. With every natural disaster the earth reminds us one thing over and over again. That is we are not safe on the earth still.
