  1. Arizona Restaurant Trends for 2013 Arizona has more than 9,000 restaurant locations across the state, totaling 11% of the state’s workforce and more than $10 billion in annual sales. Farm-to-table Movement: More locally grown fare filling plates and more demand from consumers for healthy, tasty options. Extending Dayparts: Expanding offerings in new ways to elevate the customer experience, drive more traffic during slower times and boost the bottom line. Smaller Bites: More emphasis on smaller, appetizer-like fare over four-course meals.
