  2. Introduction • If you have ever been to the zoo, chances are you have seen the polar bear. They are cute, furry and white. You might have seen them swimming in the water. • What you might not know is that polar bears have been in the news lately. Polar bears are becoming a threatened species.

  3. Introduction Continued • Your job is to do a little exploring and learn all that you can about polar bears. You will work with a partner and complete five tasks. You will become an expert on polar bears. Let’s get started. The polar bears are counting on you!

  4. So let’s put on our boots and get started. Task #1: Where do polar bears live? Task #2: What do polar bears look like? Task #3: What do the polar bears eat? Task #4: Why are the polar bears in trouble? Information To Find

  5. Task #1 • Your first task is to find out about the polar bear habitat. Okay, so you know the polar bear lives in the Arctic.
