  1. Last year, 500 green bay public school Kids were homeless. Become a positive statistic – Give to the United Way.

  3. This year, 10% of 7th graders in brown county will start smoking. Become a positive statistic – LIVE UNITED.

  4. Last year, 20,000 brown county households survived on this check. Become a positive statistic – Make an impact on your community.

  5. 10.2% of children in Wisconsin have teen parents. In Brown county, that number rises to 10.3%. Become a positive statistic - Give to the United Way.

  6. The crisis center of family services receives almost 20,000 calls in a year. Mental illness is the number one reason for the calls. The second highest frequency of calls is suicide. Become a positive statistic - Give. Advocate. Volunteer.

  7. Statewide, 6% of total motor vehicle crashes have alcohol as a factor; in brown county, that number rises to 8%. Become a positive statistic - LIVE UNITED.

  8. Brown county high school students have a 22% truancy rate (defined as 10 or more unexcused absences in a school year). Become a positive statistic – Give to the United Way.
