  3. Karakteristike srdele • vitko tijelo • velike i tanke ljuske koje se lako skidaju • uske i sitne peraje • plava leđa • bijeli trbuh • pučinska riba • kreće se u plovama

  4. Ljekovitost • namirnica bogata hranjivim i dragocjenim tvarima • izrazito bogata omega 3 masnim kiselinama

  5. Kupovanje i čuvanje • može se kupit svježa i zamrznuta • svježa riba mora imati: bistre oči sjajnu kožu, žarko crvene škrge blagi miris mora • ribe se nakon kupnje moraju iskoristit u razdoblju od 24-48 sati
