  5. Privacy Guidelines • Openness in policy • Platform for Privacy Preserving Preferences • Pseudonymity • Locality

  6. More mechanisms • Trusted middleware and anonymizing proxy • Mixed Zones – Special dummy mixed nodes • Tradeoff between application and privacy • Trust

  7. Security • Wireless data also ubiquitous • Power constraints = Encryption constraints • Radio frequency jamming • Sleep Deprivation torture • Digital Signatures expensive - physical control

  8. Security Ideas • Biometrics • Secure transient association – One master • Leave application open to change in technique • Any ideas ?

  9. Summing Up • Unnecessary, means for capitalist control, privacy invasion? • Super cool, super elegant and the way ahead? • My opinion – Inevitable ! • Improve mechanisms to make it more secure
