  1. The Effect Plant Growth Regulators Have On The Effect Plant Growth Regulators Have On Your Plants Your Plants Every plant grows differently and is affected by various internal and external factors. Hormones are produced naturally by the plants that help them grow, and plant growth regulators are applied to plants by humans for their healthy and optimum growth. These are chemicals that affect the growth of: Flowering Ageing Root Growth Colour enhancement Prevention of leafing, leaf fall or both

  2. Groups of Plant Growth Regulating Compounds Plant growth regulators positively benefit and modify the plants’ growth and development. They are widely used in many plants to shorten the internodes and create a denser, tighter and smaller plant. There are five groups of these compounds, namely: Auxin: This is an active ingredient in rooting compounds and helps in: Bending of the plant towards a light source Downward root growth in response to gravity Flower formation Fruit set and growth Formation of adventitious roots

  3. Gibberellins: These stimulates cell division and elongation, break seed dormancy and speed germination. The seeds of some species are difficult to germinate. In such cases, you can soak them in GA solution to get them started. Cytokinins: They stimulate cell division and are often included in the sterile media used for growing plants from tissue culture. Cytokinins are used to delay ageing and death. Benefits of Plant Growth Regulators Improved uniformity of shape size Better uniformity in flowering Deliver strong and compact plants Safe to crops and to environment Very good crop compatibility Resource url: https://loopia.network/read-blog/12697_the-effect-plant-growth-regulators- have-on-your-plants.html
