  2. Mission The school counselor works collaboratively with students, teachers, administrators and parents to support academic, emotional, behavioral and social development.

  3. *Confidentiality: Remember…anything said to me stays with me…UNLESS there is a possibility that you will bring harm to yourself or others, or someone is bringing harm to you.

  4. Reasons to Contact your Counselor • Educational/Career/College planning questions • Academic concerns • Stress management • Study skills • Family issues • Peer relationship issues

  5. How to Meet with Your Counselor • Appointment made by counselor… meetings as needed • Appointment made by student – you can come to the counseling center at any time of day and make an appointment to see me with the counseling center secretary– including Clinic time after school!!!

If you cannot see your counselor immediately… Here are some other safe places where confidentiality applies! • Another Counselor (Counseling Center) • CARES Coordinator (Career Center) • Grade Level Principal (First floor East) • School Social Worker (Career Center) • School Nurse (First floor East)
