The Hope of Israel • Isaiah 9:6-7 • For a child is born to us,    a son is given to us.The government will rest on his shoulders.    And he will be called:Wonderful Counsellor,Mighty God,    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.7 His government and its peace will never end.He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity.

  5. The Real Gathering acts 28:23-28 • He explained and testified the Kingdom of God, He tried to persuade them about Jesus from the Scriptures. He used the law of Moses and the books of the prophets, he spoke to them from morning until evening. 

  6. Paul’s Response • Their eyes cannot see,     • Their ears cannot hear, • Their hearts cannot understand, • They cannot turn to me     • and let me heal them.’ • 28 So this salvation from God has also been offered to the Gentiles, and they will accept it.”

  7. The Conclusionacts 28:30-31 • Belong • Believe • Become • 30 For the next two years, Paul lived in Rome at his own expense He welcomed all who visited him, 31 boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ. • And no one tried to stop him.

  8. 7 So God’s message continued to spread. The number of believers greatly increased in Jerusalem, and many of the Jewish priests were converted, too. Acts 6:7(NLT) • 31 The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers. Acts 9:31 (NLT) • 24 Meanwhile, the word of God continued to spread, and there were many new believers. Acts 12:24(NLT) • 5 So the churches were strengthened in their faith and grew larger every day. Acts 16:5(NLT) • 20 So the message about the Lord spread widely and had a powerful effect. Acts 19:20(NLT)
