Analytical Activities • Assist in reviewing/developing CSDR Plans • Integral part: the Responsibilities Assignment Matrix (RAM) • AT&L support via DAES has been instrumental • Overall real progress but costly • Approval process takes 3 months • All submitted plans need revision • Approved Plans • Plans in progress As of August 1, 2005

Analytical Activities • Validate CSDR Submissions • Lower priority in 2002 and 2003 • Started a “catch-up” plan in June 2004 • All “pending” submissions will be placed in DACIMS • All submissions in DACIMS will have a “Validated” field • All submissions with as of dates after 31 December 2001 will be validated • Backlog completed in January 2005 • Uploading data into DACIMS • Metrics: As of August 1, 2005

Outreach Activities • Coordination with DCAA • Developed audit procedure • Now conducting audits • Coordination with OSD(AT&L) • Acquisition Resources and Analysis (ARA) • Updated MIL-HDBK-881B • Include status of CSDR in DAES Assessments • Revised EVM DID • Format 1 is mandatory • Format 1 must be product-oriented • Format 1 must tie to MIL-HDBK-881B • Format 1 must be the same for CSDR “Submission of Format 1 using a product-oriented WBS in accordance with the WBS Handbook, MIL-HDBK-881, and the CWBS DID, DI-MGMT-81334A, is mandatory. (Note: For contracts that require CCDRs, the CWBS shall be developed, approved, and maintained in accordance with DoD 5000.4-M-1, Cost and Software Data Reporting Manual, and the CWBS DID.)”
