  1. What is Comenius? This is a project that is funded by the EU and aims to : To promote co-operation between schools, To encourage links between students from different countries, ama improve the knowledge of cultures and languages of the countries Promoting interdisciplinary work and teamwork,  to encourage mobility of teachersIt's a school project that includes several countries whose students and teachers participating.

  3. John Amos Comenius was a Czech teacher, educator, and writer. Comenius originated from Moravia. He is often considered the father of modern education. He was first a teacher and an organizer of schools, not only among his own people, but later in Sweden, and to a slight extent in Holland. He lived and worked in many different countries in Europe.

  4. Tadeusz Banachiewicz (1882-1954) was a Polish was an astromer, mathematician and geodesist. After the independence of Polandin 1919, Banachiewicz went to Krakow and became a professor at the Jagiellonian University and became head of the Observatory of Cracow . In 1925 he formulated the theory of "Cracow"(including matrix algebra), which earned him international recognition.

  5. Hermann Oberth (1894-1989) was a German physicist, specialist in astronautics, considered the a founding father o space flight. A bust of the scientist was placed in Sibiu. Another bust of Hermann Oberth was built in Sighisoara, where he where he studied.

  6. Pierre Louis Dulong (1785-1838) a french chemist and physicist, author of works on heat specifically, the expansion and the refractive index of gases. His name is inscribed on the Eiffel Tower .

  7. Eugène Michel Antoniad (1870-1944) He became a renowned observer of March, and argued for a moment the idea of Martian canals . he he concluded that the channels were just an optical illusion .
