  2. Background information on New England Patriots The team colors are red, white, and blue. The name of the stadium is Gillette Stadium. The location of the stadium is Foxboro, MA. The name of the mascot is Pat Patriot. The team joined the American Football league in 1959 as the Boston Patriots. The Patriots joined the NFL in 1970 when there was a merger. In 2009the Patriots were 10-6.

  4. My three favorite players are Wes Welker, Tom Brady, and Randy Moss (veteran). Player’s Stats and Career Highlights: In the 2010 season he finished with seven receptions for 80 yards. This includes an 18-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady in the third quarter in a start against the Jets. He led the team in catches with 8 catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns against the Lions (11/25/09). Wes Welker Age: 29 Position: Wide Receiver

  5. Player’s Stats and Career Highlights: He was drafted by the Patriots in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL draft. He was ranked 199th overall. Brady entered the 2010 season with a record of 111-34 in regular and playoff games. It is the best record of any NFL quarterback (in the Super Bowl Era) since 1966. His touchdown-to-interception ratio is 2.27. This is the best in NFL history with 2000 or more passing attempts. Tom Brady Age: 33 Position: QB

  6. Randy Moss Player’s Stats and Career Highlights: In his 12-year career, he totaled 148 touchdown receptions out of his 926 career catches. In 2007, Moss made an NFL record that passed the previous Jerry Rice record. Moss caught 23 touchdown passes in one season.
