  2. Midterm Exam – Section 1 • Matching Exam • Will be completed on our scheduled exam day • 7th block: Thursday, January 19th • Will need to label the different parts of MS Publisher and Adobe Photoshop Elements 6

  3. Midterm Exam – Section 2 • Choose a restaurant that exists • You must run your restaurant idea by me! You will rebrand the restaurant (rename, new logo, new menu items, etc.) • You will create the following for your restaurant business: • Flyer • Newsletter • Menu (Brochure) • Magazine Cover

Midterm Exam – Section 2 • The Flyer should include: • The restaurant name • Their logo • Their location • An attention getter • Tear-offs with name and number • Other related images • Bulleted list • The newsletter should include: • The restaurant name • Their logo • Contact information • Images • Use autoflow for one section • Include images with captions • A pull quote • A bulleted list • Create your own font scheme

Midterm – Section 2 • The brochure should include: • The restaurant name • Their logo • Contact information • Break the menu down into sections • Prices • Descriptions of a couple menu items • Images • Create a new color scheme • The magazine cover should include: • The restaurant name • 3 story titles that relate to the restaurant • Image(s) that relate

Turning It All In • Go to “My Documents” and open the Multimedia folder you created at the beginning of the year and create a folder titled “YourLastName_Midterm_Exam” • Save each of your files into this folder • “YourLastName_TheFyler” • “YourLastName_TheNewsletter” • “YourLastName_TheBrochure” • “YourLastName_TheMagazineCover” • Turn the folder into the Global Drive, Mrs. Hochstein’s folder, Block 7, Inbox for before the end of our exam day. TO RECEIVE FULL CREDIT YOU MUST USE THE CORRECT NAMING CONVENTION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
