  16. Overview • EDEN – Environmental Data Exchange Network • Primary objective is the sharing of environmental data between interested parties • EDEN joint initiative between LGCSB & EPA and funded by DOEHLG

Benefits • Simplifies the process of data sharing • Allows data to be shared in a timely manner and used to maximum benefit • Eliminates multiple entries and multiple reports • Allows checking of the quality of data and provides constructive feedback when errors are found • Helps in meeting reporting commitments
