A fashionably aware man, he enjoys sharing his work and the excitement of those who are seeing these unique pieces for the first time. Because controlled chaos is intrinsic to the forged wire process, each piece is as unique as one man’s statement to the next. Davis became a jeweller by accident. He was a craftsman and guitar builder who was asked by his brother one Christmas if he could make him a ‘bracelet out of some kind of metal’. Knowing his way around things as simple as hammers and as sophisticated as machine shops, he twisted some heavy steel and copper wires into a simple yet pleasing pattern, hammered them flat, and formed it into the very first Helix Cuff. Although he thought nothing of it at the time, the moment was life changing. Two years later he partnered with Hamed Yazdi; the businessman behind the curtain. Helix Cuffs has steadily been gaining repute ever since.

3. About the work: In a world of mass-produced Jewelry coming out of factories, no two Helix Cuffs have ever, or will ever be exactly the same. They are made by one man with a hammer, an anvil, and a slew of originally invented tools and machines. Many of which kept secret.
