  2. Cadet Corps Regulation 1 • You have already studies this regulation in great detail • It was the regulation on General Administration such as orders, service records, filing, and correspondence

  3. Cadet Corps Regulation 1-1Cadet Award and Decoration • This regulation tells you how every cadet award can be earned, including • Ribbons • Trophies and plaques • Cords • Honor bars • Unit awards

  4. Cadet Corps Regulation 1-2Commandant Code of Conduct and Ethics • This regulation tells Commandants and others exactly what kinds of behaviors are expected and prohibited as adult members of the California Cadet Corps program • It includes provisions for cadets, parents, and others to file complaints when they think a commandant has broken the code

  5. Cadet Corps Regulation 1-3Commandant Uniforms • This regulation is brief. It says commandants who meet height and weight requirements specified by the California National Guard may wear the Army uniforms with certain slight modifications (such as the red name tags).

Cadet Corps Regulation 1-7Commandant Awards and Decorations • Exactly like the cadets, commandant can earn ribbons for their service (though not nearly as many as the cadets can earn) • This regulations details the requirements for each ribbon a commandant can earn in the CACC. • It also explains how those ribbons are worn with other ribbons a commandant may have earned in another state or federal military service.

Cadet Corps Regulation 1-10Commandant Personnel Credentialing • A credential is a license to teach in California Public schools. • This regulation governs and explains exactly how a person qualifies and applies for a credential to teach the California Cadet Corps through a credential known as the Basic Military Drill Credential.

Cadet Corps Regulation 1-11Delegation of Signature Authority • Laws Laws Laws • California requires governing boards of schools and school districts, like the “Board of Education” to tell state agencies like the CACC HQs who can sign forms and official documents on behalf of the school or governing board.

  17. Cadet Corps Regulation 1-12CACC Organizational Colors and Guidons • This Regulation specifies the design and use of the CACC flag (I get you didn’t even know we had one of those, did you?) • It also governs the design and use of guidons in the California Cadet Corps.

  18. Cadet Corps Regulation 1-13, 1-14 • These regulations have not yet been published but they will be soon, and they will cover how the cadet 10th Brigade Staff operates and how the adult M-Day staff operates – that’s the adult staff that is the HQs of the CACC.
