Moses Lake School District Process for HiPov$ • Schools submit the High Poverty Form. • Executive & Assistant Directors review the proposal - about once a week. • Look up the research. • Ask clarifying questions of principals or the person that submitted the request. Contact NCESD for help when needed. • Contact staff members with clarifying questions. If needed, have participants resubmit proposal. If approved, contact with a phone call & email to staff members. • Give budget codes for spending $$.

A few examples of some of the proposals we have accepted here in Moses Lake • Parent Involvement-STEM night, Read along wrap up for food & books for STEM night • Learning through Physical Activity - Lu Interactive Learning • Chromebooks for Imagine Learning • MTSS Conference (Trauma-Informed) for six members of LIT team • Before-School Intervention-stipends & snacks • Imagine Learning Intervention • After-School Tier II Intervention • Character Strong Training for HS & all MS • Algebra Task Force - peer observations, books, & conference • Class Craft - extended learning opportunities @ MS • Alternative Learning Program HS - school within a school
