Pronouns. A pronoun is a word that takes the place of one or more nouns (and the words that describe those nouns) Ex: My mom went to the store. She bought cereal and milk. She is a pronoun that took the place of “my mom”. Personal Pronouns.

  3. Subject Pronoun Used to replace a noun or group of nouns in the subject part of the sentence. EX: My sister is going to a party. SHE is going to the party. Object Pronoun Used to replace a noun or group of nouns in the direct object or indirect object place in a sentence. EX: My sister took her dog to the park. My sister took HIM to the park.
