  5. Meet the Author and Illustrator: Laurie Krasny Brown and Marc Brown Laurie Brown wrote the story Dinosaurs Travel and her husband Marc Brown drew the pictures. When she starts a new book; she reads all she can on the subject. Next she makes a list of what she wants to put in the book. Then she writes and rewrites. Then she gets someone she knows to read it. Marc Brown’s art studio is in his house. Marc Brown started drawing and telling stories at a very young age. He likes to draw dinosaurs because they are powerful animals and he wants his readers to feel powerful too.
