  2. Strategic Plan • The Lead Planter needs to first begin with a prayer strategy • The Lead Planter needs to connect with his local church leadership • Identify possible place, team, and begin planning and developing vision and communication for gathering your support team.

  3. Strategic Plan • You need to answer: • Why start a new church? • Who is the church primary focus of reaching? • What kind of church is this going to be? • Who is the planting team? • How and when will the plant happen?

Strategic Plan • Before you begin putting your Prospectus together you need to think through: • Clear Vision and Mission of the church • Prayer Strategy Defined/Implemented for CP Team & Support Base • Field Studied—Demographics, Field Visits & Interviews Planned, etc. • Team Criteria , Selection Process, & Development Process Created • Model Selected & Defined

  5. Strategic Plan • Evangelistic Strategy Developed • Key Team Roles Outlined • Small Groups Strategy Outlined • Continue Learning Plan Outlined • Basic Budget Outlined • Basic Timeline Developed

  8. The Big Prospectus • Team • Roles and Responsibilities • Ministry Experience- You are selling yourself to your potential supporters. This will be there first impression of your planting team. • Explanation of why you are planting with a team. (Plurality of Pastors)

  9. The Big Prospectus • Ask for Partnership • What does partnership look like? • Prayer • Finances • People • List Your Partners/Endorsements • Prospective Budget • Work on Clarity

  10. The Big Prospectus • Timeline and Goals • Development of Teams (Core Team, Prayer Team, Support Team, Mission Teams) • Relocation- Prelaunch • Launch • Plan for Multiplication (Becoming a Church Planting Church)

  11. One Page Prospectus • Condense your Big Prospectus down to one-page. This is what you will use to put in the hands of most of your individual supporters.
